Teachers for Peace at TESOL Madrid 2023: Making Connections and Spreading Our Message

We had an absolute blast at the TESOL Spain Madrid 2023 convention! Not only did we get to meet some amazing educators from around the world and share our passion for helping children and women affected by conflict and war, but we also finally got to meet our cofounder and teacher Nereyda Valle and her amazing teachers from @speakeasyacademy Merida, Spain.

The convention was a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations who share our vision of education as a tool for positive change in the world. We are incredibly grateful to #TESOLMadrid for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to showcase our project. It was a huge deal for us and we look forward to participating in more TESOL conventions in the future.

If you're reading this and thinking, "Wow, I wish I could have been there!" don't worry, because you still have a chance to join our peace movement. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our Teachers for Peace community of 44 volunteer teachers from around the world offering free lessons to Ukrainian children impacted by war. Our project aims to provide a safe online space for education and hope for a peaceful future.

If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and women affected by conflict and war, we invite you to join us. Whether you're a teacher, student, or simply someone who cares, we believe that everyone has a role to play in creating a more peaceful world.

So, what are you waiting for? Reach out to us @teachersforpeace to learn more about how you can get involved. Together, we can make a real difference in the world. Let's create a better tomorrow, today! #EducationForPeace #Volunteer #GlobalEducation #TESOLConvention2023 #TeachersForChange
